Job Description

We have a challenging but extremely rewarding and varied role for a Finance Systems Accountant, providing you the opportunity to make a real impact on the way we operate as a business. There are a number of potential system enhancements in the pipeline which you will play a major part in.

You will be joining on an 18 month Fixed Term Contract and will gain valuable experience and insight working for a large, well known organisation that is going through an exciting turnaround plan.

What you will be doing as Finance Systems Accountant
  • Maintenance of the SAP Enterprise structure including Chart of Account, Cost / Profit Centre Hierarchy, Financial Statement structure and Assessment Cycles
  • Assisting with the system month end close for SAP ECC & ISU, ensuring resilience across the Finance System team
  • Providing technical guidance and training to users on use of our systems
  • Continual review of process improvements to identify, recommend and implement improvements (alongside our IT team and IT suppliers), solutions to automate and enhance our systems and processes
  • Project Manager/ Business Analyst on system improvement projects
What you should bring to the role
  • You will be a Subject matter expert in SAP FICO
  • Good SAP Project Systems Experience
  • Excellent stakeholder management and relationship building skills
  • Ideally a Qualified accountant or qualified by experience
