Job Description
What you’ll be doing as a People Analytics Specialist
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data needs and reporting requirements.
- Analyse and document data sources, data structure, and data quality considerations.
- Create and maintain interactive and visually appealing dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using Power BI.
- Develop data models, measures, and calculations to provide actionable insights using DAX, and SQL.
- Implement dynamic filters, slicers, and drill-down capabilities for enhanced user experience.
- Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across all reports and dashboards.
- Conduct thorough testing to validate data accuracy and performance.
- Communicate insights and findings effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Identify and implement strategies to improve Power BI report performance and responsiveness.
- Optimize SQL queries and database indexes to enhance overall system performance.
Working Pattern or hours: 36 Hours.
What you should bring to the role
- Significant work experience in Power BI and SQL.
- Strong proficiency in SQL database design principles.
- Substantial experience in data analysis and data modelling.
- Experience with Power BI RLS.
- Experience with Power Automate would be beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field is desirable.
- Competitive salary from £35,000 to £45,000 per annum.
- Annual Leave - 26 days holiday per year increasing to 30 with the length of service. (Plus bank holidays).
