Management Accountant - Hybrid

Sheridan Maine is pleased to be working with a well-established retail group seeking a Management Accountant to join their finance team. This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, commercially driven environment, providing financial insight and analysis to support business decision-making.
 
Responsibilities of the Management Accountant include:

• Prepare month-end journals and provide commentary on P&L and Balance Sheet variances.
• Maintain rolling forecasts and annual budgets, liaising with key stakeholders.
• Support financial reporting related to capital expenditure and cost control.
• Assist in the year-end audit process, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
• Collaborate with business partners to provide financial insights and support decision-making.

 
The successful Management Accountant will require:

• Qualified or Part-Qualified (ACCA, CIMA, ACA).
• Experience in management accounting, reporting, and forecasting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Proficiency in Excel and financial systems.
