Key Responsibilities of the Management Accountant will include:
 

• Prepare and deliver monthly management accounts, ensuring all reporting deadlines are consistently met.
• Business partnering with budget holders across the business to provide financial insights and support.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations, journal processing, and variance analysis.
• Assist in the preparation of annual statutory accounts.
• Preparation of financial reports and liaison with budget holders and key stakeholders.
• Manage, mentor, and support the Assistant Management Accountant, fostering their growth and development.
• Conduct detailed reporting and analytical tasks to inform decision-making.

 
Key skills and experience required:
 

• Part-qualified, fully qualified, or actively studying towards a recognized accounting qualification (CIMA, ACA, ACCA).
• Strong communication skills with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships at all levels.
• Proficiency in analysing, interpreting, and presenting financial data clearly and concisely.
• Collaborative mindset with a proactive, solution-focused approach.
• Advanced Excel skills and a strong grasp of financial systems.
