Job Description

Sheridan Maine are pleased to be working in partnership with an established Basingstoke based organisation that are seeking an Accounts Assistant to join their small and friendly finance team.
 
The role will be responsible for the accounts payable function as well as other finance related tasks. Key duties include:

  • Matching and processing purchase invoices
  • Reconciling supplier accounts
  • Preparing regular payments runs
  • Credit card and petty cash reconciliations
  • Raising POs for invoices
  • Dealing with supplier queries

To be considered for this role, the successful candidate will have knowledge and prior experience of purchase ledger, as well as good IT skills and attention to detail.  Our client is seeking a professional and diligent individual who works well as part of a small team and has excellent communication skills.
