About the Role We’re looking for a driven New Business Lead to grow our Marketplace by sourcing, onboarding, and supporting new sellers. You’ll identify high-potential partners, guide them through onboarding, and ensure they’re set up for long-term success. Reporting to the Marketplace Manager, you’ll play a key role in expanding our product offering and enhancing customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Source and recruit sellers in priority categories
- Develop acquisition strategies and manage the full sales cycle
- Conduct market analysis to spot trends and opportunities
- Vet sellers for compliance and quality standards
- Support sellers through onboarding and initial launch
- Collaborate across teams to ensure smooth integration
- Represent the business at trade shows and webinars
- Track KPIs and produce performance reports
- Deliver training and manage seller enquiries via Zendesk
- Lead and mentor team members to drive results
What We’re Looking For
- 3–5+ years in business development, sales, or partner acquisition
- Strong commercial awareness and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- Experience with marketplaces and seller onboarding preferred
- Proficiency in Excel (formulas, graphs)
- Organised, proactive, and collaborative team player
- Degree preferred but not essential
