Shot Blaster/Paint Sprayer – Temp to Perm Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Shot Blaster/Paint Sprayer on a temporary basis, with the potential for permanent employment. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing surfaces by removing rust, paint, and other contaminants using abrasive blasting techniques, spray painting prepared surfaces, ensuring clean finished product.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Operate shot blasting equipment safely and efficiently.
• Prepare surfaces for painting or coating by removing rust, paint, and other contaminants.
• Inspect and maintain equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures.
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet project deadlines.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in shot blasting or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good physical stamina and the ability to perform manual labour.
• Some previous experience in a mechanical environment or qualification would be beneficial.
• You will need to successfully go through in depth security background check to be considered for this role.

Benefits:

• Hourly rate of £12.50 - £14 per hour dependent on experience
