Job Description

We're looking for an experienced Health and Safety Trainer to join our client's team!

They're a specialist compliance company working with many of the UK construction businesses, and you will be experienced in both live and virtual training. Initially, the role will require you to deliver the training remotely whilst their business grows.

You will deliver a broad range of topics across the health and safety training field - the courses have been developed, so the successful candidate will also be tasked with reviewing and improving the content.

Job details:
  • Salary £35,000 - £50,000 dependent on experience

As a Health and Safety Trainer, you will share in their passion to embrace cutting edge technology with an aim to deliver a first-class virtual training experience to their customers and employees.
 
Requirements of the Health and Safety Trainer:
  •  At least 3 years of experience in a construction management role, with responsibility for site health and safety or site supervision.
  •  A training qualification or CITB-recognized exemption.

Completion of ONE of the following qualifications:
  •  NEBOSH National Certificate in Construction Safety and Health.
  •  NVQ/SVQ Level 5 in Occupational Safety and Health.
  •  Health and Safety degree.
  •  NEBOSH Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health (Part 2 or Units A, B, C, D).
  •  Diploma in Safety Management Level 6.

Desirable:
  • Chartered Health and Safety membership (CMIOSH).
  • Experience delivering H&S training in construction.
  • Teaching qualification (e.g., PTLLS).
 
Additional requirements:
  • Experience delivering virtual training.
  • Familiarity with online training tools.
