Relief Driver & Warehouse Operative

Pertemps are recruiting for a Warehouse Person / Cover Delivery Driver with Trailer Experience.

Working from Dunstable for an established plant hire company.

Location: Dunstable, UK
Salary: £12.51ph

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Warehouse person to help with the day to day running of a busy plant hire depot. You will also be expected to cover for Delivery Driver duties when needed which will include delivering and collecting plant & tool hire equipment to different sites across the local areas. With proven experience driving with a trailer. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle with a trailer.
- Load and unload goods.
- Ensure timely deliveries.
- Maintain vehicle and trailer in good condition.
- Picking orders for the following day
- Checking and storing off-hired equipment.
- Loading and unloading of trucks and returning equipment
- Maintaining a clean and safe warehouse, workshop, and storage areas.
- Operation of goods inwards and dispatch processes
- General Warehouse duties

Requirements:
- Valid UK driving license with appropriate category for this role.
- Maximum of six points on licence
- Proven experience driving with a trailer.
- Excellent driving record.
- Ability to manage physical workload.

This is an ongoing placement in an established plant hire company and an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a mix of working indoors and being out on the road.
