Job Description
Do you have warehouse experience and a valid UK Counterbalance Forklift Licence (a requirement)? Our client is seeking an experienced forklift operative to join their dynamic warehouse team.
About the Role:
You will play a versatile role within the warehouse, combining forklift driving with general warehouse operative tasks. This is a hybrid position.
- Work schedule: Monday to Friday.
- Shift patterns: 06:45-15:00 and 14:45-23:00. (Ability to work both shifts is essential.)
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive forklifts to manage volume and fulfillment at the production station.
- Transition from forklift duties to tasks such as picking, packing, and inspecting goods.
- Load and unload vehicles, and assist with stock organisation.
- Flexibility to perform various warehouse duties throughout the week, beyond forklift operation.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid UK Counterbalance Forklift Licence, this is a requirement (Licences over 3 years old should have updated evidence for Good Practice.)
- Reach Truck expereience is Preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year FLT experience.
- Keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Excellent attendance and punctuality.
- Strong understanding of Health and Safety practices and their implementation.
- Adaptability to take on tasks beyond their typical remit.
- Valid driving licence and access to own vehicle.
- Flexibility to accommodate shift patterns.
