Location: High Wycombe
Salary: Up to £60,000
Hours: 35 hour working week

Are you an experienced Electronics Engineer with strong PCB design skills and a passion for developing high quality products? This is a great opportunity to join a respected technology business where engineering, innovation and product excellence are central to everything.
You will work as part of a collaborative technical team developing electronic and lighting control products used across commercial and smart building environments. The role offers hands on design work, variety and the chance to take products from concept through to manufacture.

What you will be doing:
• Designing PCB schematics and layouts for DALI drivers, Bluetooth devices, sensors, relay circuits, PoE switches and control modules
• Selecting components and ensuring designs meet EMC and LVD requirements
• Running long term product testing, fault finding and supporting RMA analysis
• Testing BLE devices and supporting App functionality and firmware updates
• Producing BOMs, wiring diagrams, test specifications and production packs
• Supporting prototype builds and maintaining the R and D lab
• Working with suppliers to ensure high manufacturing standards
• Improving existing products through value engineering

About you:
• Minimum 7 years experience designing PCBs and electronic circuits
• Strong skills in schematic creation, layout and component selection
• Experience within lighting control, communication devices or similar products
• Highly organised, methodical and detail focused
• Confident working within multi discipline engineering teams
• Knowledge of EMC, LVD and relevant industry standards

Experience and qualifications
• Relevant degree, apprenticeship, HND or BTEC in Electronic Engineering
• Proven experience in PCB design, testing and debugging
• Familiarity with firmware or software testing is an advantage
• Strong documentation and reporting skills
