Project Manager

A massively backed Manufacturer based in Worcestershire are looking for Project Managers to join their ever growing engineering team. You’ll be coming into a business who are investing heavily, improving their facilities, have a strong order book and have constantly working to change & improve their culture. A strong engineering skillset with good projects experience around a manufacturing environment would make you the ideal candidate.
 
 Job title: Project Manager
Salary: up to £44,000 per annum + great benefits package
Location: Worcestershire (commutable from North Birmingham, Droitwich, Worcester, Stourbridge, Wolverhampton, Kidderminster) 
 
 
Responsibilities of the Project Manager
 

• Own and deliver multiple projects, ensuring schedule, cost and quality targets are achieved.
• Coordinate with Programme Managers and senior stakeholders on key customer and major projects.
• Apply strong commercial and budgetary awareness to track costs and manage project finances.
• Work closely with engineering, production and other functions to drive progress and remove blockers.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and initiatives.
• Adapt your approach to different project types, from miscellaneous engineering tasks to large-scale manufacturing programmes.

 
Requirements of the Project Manager
 

• Proven project experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment is ideal.
• Recognised Project Management qualification/accreditation is desirable APM, Prince2 etc.
• A strong generalist Project Manager who is comfortable handling a wide range of project types.
• Dynamic, driven and able to show initiative, with a fluid and mentally agile approach.
• Able to grow with the business and thrive in a changing environment.
• Strong communication skills both internally and externally
