The appointed Residential Property Solicitor will be dealing with a range of matters relating to conveyancing, advising a diverse range of clients on complex and challenging situations at every stage in the process.

• You will be responsible for managing and overseeing your own caseload of both freehold and leasehold properties, providing guidance on matters including but not limited to sales, purchases, transfers of equity, new-build, and shared ownership.

• You will conduct title checks, review legal documentation, and identify potential issues, draft and review contracts, leases, and other property-related documents. Additionally, you will manage correspondence with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other third parties - ensuring timely responses and updates throughout the process.

• The firm are considering candidates that have proven experience, preferably gained at a CQS-accredited firm, with excellent technical knowledge of conveyancing procedures and regulatory obligations. You will ensure full compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements, including Anti-Money Laundering and GDPR, while carrying out searches, submitting Land Registry applications, and raising appropriate enquiries as required.

• You will also develop close relationships with client and key contacts, offering legal advice and support throughout the entire conveyancing process. You must have excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with clients and other stakeholders and offer exceptional levels of client care.
