Job Title: Residential Development Solicitor
PQE: 3–5 years
Location: Kent
Salary: £65-75K + DOE

The Role:
This is a fabulous opportunity to join a highly regarded and nationally recognised residential development team at a top 50 UK law firm. Working with clients ranging from local developers to national housebuilders and housing associations, you’ll be involved in high-quality, large-scale projects with long-term client relationships.

Your work will include:
  • Advising on strategic land and residential development transactions
  • Drafting and negotiating contracts, options, promotion and collaboration agreements
  • Handling affordable housing matters and advising Registered Providers
  • Managing title due diligence, development finance issues and infrastructure arrangements
  • Collaborating with colleagues in tax, planning, construction and litigation for a seamless service
  • Building client relationships and supporting business development activities
The Candidate:
You will be a qualified solicitor with 3–5 years’ PQE and a background in residential development or commercial real estate. You must also be able to demonstrate:
  • Strong drafting and technical skills
  • A commercial approach and ability to advise on complex transactions
  • Experience handling development or land transactions independently or as part of a wider team
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Enthusiasm for developing a long-term career within a collaborative and high-performing team
