Job Description
• This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic legal practice, supporting fee earners in sensitive and rewarding areas such as Divorce, Children Act proceedings, and Financial Remedy matters.
• As a key member of the Family Department, you will provide high-level administrative and secretarial support to fee earners.
• You’ll be at the heart of case management, working closely with clients, counsel, and external agencies to ensure the smooth running of complex family law matters.
• You will undertake accurate audio and copy typing, including the preparation of legal documents and court bundles
• Manage incoming and outgoing communication – calls, emails, and correspondence
• Handle file opening/closing and client data entry with precision
• Attend court hearings to support Counsel when required
• Support general office administration including billing, payment processing, and file organisation
• It is essential that you have proven experience in a legal assistant or secretarial role within a family law setting
• You will have exceptional written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail and work well within a team environment.
