THE ROLE:
In this role, you will provide guidance and support to members facing regulatory issues and proceedings. You will manage a diverse caseload involving professional discipline and regulatory matters, handling all related tasks such as drafting legal documents, corresponding with relevant parties, delivering accurate legal advice, and instructing expert witnesses or counsel when necessary. There may be opportunities for the appointed candidate to advocate on behalf of members at meetings and hearings throughout the regulatory process, if this is something that interests you.

THE CANDIDATE:
The organisation is looking for qualified solicitors, barristers or legal executives with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role. Foreign qualified solicitors with experience in the UK will also be considered for this position. Experience in regulation, particularly within the healthcare sector, is desirable, along with a sound understanding of current legal and regulatory frameworks and relevant authorities in healthcare regulation. The ideal candidate will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and be capable of drafting clear case specific documents.
