Job Title: Operational Finance Coordinator
Location: Nuneaton, Warwickshire
Salary: £15–£20 per hour (DOE)
Contract Type: Temporary – 3-6 months (could be longer)
Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
Start Date: ASAP

About the Role:

We are looking for a proactive and organised Operational Finance Coordinator to join Warwickshire County Council's Business Centres team. This exciting temporary role is ideal for a finance professional with experience in operational finance processes, supplier management, and tenant services.

Working closely with the Operations Manager, you will manage financial operations across multiple business centres, ensuring smooth and accurate handling of financial transactions, supplier management, and tenant services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage Business Centre finance packages (Agresso/Unit 4)
  • Process invoices, financial transactions, and supplier payments
  • Implement rent increases, handle lease transfers, and onboard new tenants
  • Conduct financial forecasting, arrears monitoring, and reporting
  • Maintain supplier contracts and ensure compliance
  • Handle customer queries, providing a high level of service
  • Support Health & Safety compliance within the Business Centres

About You:

To thrive in this role, you'll need:
  • Experience in customer-facing finance roles (Local Authority finance experience advantageous)
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and financial management systems
  • Excellent organisational, analytical, and communication skills
  • Ability to travel between sites as required
  • Proactive and collaborative approach, with the ability to work independently where needed
