Adult Complex Care Lead Nurse

Are you passionate about delivering exceptional care for clients with complex medical needs?

We’re seeking an experienced and dedicated Adult Complex Care Lead Nurse to join our client’s dedicated team. In this rewarding role, you’ll support clients with conditions such as neurological disorders, spinal injuries, or trauma, providing expert clinical oversight, training carers, and ensuring the delivery of exceptional, person-centred care in the community.Main duties of this Adult Complex Care Lead Nurse role:
  • Delivering hands-on training for carers in areas such as tracheostomy care, ventilation, PEG feeding, medication administration, and the management of neurological and spinal conditions.
  • Providing high-quality nursing care while adhering to the latest best practices in complex care.
  • Liaising with multidisciplinary teams, including therapists, GPs, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure holistic, person-centred care.
  • Acting as a key contact for clients, families, and carers, offering guidance, emotional support, and advocacy.

Skills and qualifications required for this Adult Complex Care Lead Nurse role:
  • A Registered Adult Nurse with valid NMC registration.
  • Significant experience in adult critical care or community complex care, including managing tracheostomy care, ventilation, PEG feeding, and neurological and spinal conditions.
  • Strong teaching and mentoring abilities to train and empower carers.
  • A calm, client-focused approach, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to work independently in the community.
  • A full UK driving license and access to a vehicle are essential.
