Pertemps Stoke are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Production Operative to join our client’s team in Newcastle-under-Lyme. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with experience in wire harness assembly and electromechanical products

Key Responsibilities of this production operative role:

• Cutting and stripping wires to specified lengths
• Crimping and soldering of terminations
• Handling and application of electronic components in the assembly process
• Use of heat shrink products and associated adhesives for insulation and protection
• Reading and interpreting production drawings and technical documentation for wire harnesses and electromechanical products
• Following documented build procedures with precision and attention to detail

Essential Skills & Experience for this production operative role:

• Previous experience in wire harness assembly or electromechanical product manufacturing
• Proficient in crimping and soldering techniques
• Ability to work with heat shrink products and adhesives
• Strong understanding of production drawings and ability to work to detailed build procedures
• High attention to detail and a methodical approach to tasks

Details of this production operative role:

• Hourly rate: £11.44
• Monday to Thursday 8:00-16:30 Friday 8:00-12:30
• Free onsite parking
• A supportive and friendly work environment
• Temporary ongoing position
