Job Description

Quality Systems Coordinator

Are you detail-driven and passionate about quality, compliance, and food safety? We're looking for a Quality Systems Coordinator to join our team and play a key role in maintaining and improving our quality management systems and certification standards.

This role is initially required on a temporary, ongoing basis for approx. a 6 month period.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong analytical skills and a background in food manufacturing to take ownership of quality systems, audits, and documentation that keep our products safe, compliant, and trusted by customers.

Key Responsibilities
As our Quality Systems Coordinator, you will:
Analyse customer quality standards and create consistent working practices to ensure compliance.
Train and support relevant departments in meeting quality and hygiene requirements.
Maintain up-to-date documentation within the Quality Data System (QDS), including procedures, instructions, and standards.
Lead the HACCP team, driving continuous improvement initiatives and supporting new project implementation.
Manage and conduct internal audits covering hygiene, housekeeping, QMS, CCPs, and product quality.
Support the maintenance and development of Quality Management Systems (QMS).
Facilitate root cause analysis and ensure effective corrective and preventative actions (CAPA).
Coordinate and host external audits, including customer and certification audits.
Ensure all CAPA are completed accurately and in a timely manner.

About You
To succeed in this role, you'll bring:
A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Food Engineering, Bioscience, or Microbiology.
At least 6 years' experience in a similar quality, technical, or systems coordination role within the food industry.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong organisational and administrative skills with exceptional attention to detail.
