Warehouse General Assistant

We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse General Assistant for our client based in Bedminster BS3. They are the world's largest provider of airline catering and in-flight services. Their primary business function is to prepare and deliver meals for the aircraft.

• Working an average of 40 hours per week, on a set rota of 3 on/ 3 off
• Working hours: 06:00 - 18:00
• £13.80 per hour - Flat rate for all hours worked
• Free meals and drinks provided each shift

The Job Role:

• Washing down trollies and equipment, emptying them of any food and waste.
• Maintain a clean and safe work station, this will include general cleaning, emptying bins in all areas and cleaning toilets.
• You will be required to work in a chilled environment
• Handling of packed food / meals
• Packing condiments and other items required for the flight
• Inspecting goods and ensuring there is no prohibited items
• Checking stock for any damages
• Completion of paperwork

Requirements:

• Must be able to handle pork and alcohol products
• Prepared to stand for long periods of time and have good mobility
• Must be willing to work in a chilled environment
• Must be living in the UK for 5 years
• Criminal Background check - DBS. We will process this for you free of charge.
• Reference's for a minimum period of 5 years prior to start date

No previous experience is necessary just a good work ethic, reliable and a desire to work hard as part of a team.
