Pertemps is recruiting for our client, an FCA-regulated financial services business in the prepaid later-life planning sector, which is growing rapidly. Our client is looking for an experienced administrator to join their expanding team at their head office just outside Warwick
length of role: Between 3 to 6 months
In this role, you'll be responsible for ensuring plan-related documentation is accurately entered into the back-office system in line with company guidelines. You'll also manage inbound calls, schedule advisor diaries, and distribute calls across the team.
Additional duties include client support, data entry, document creation and distribution, and various administrative tasks. Pay is commensurate with experience, and you'll need to arrange your own transport to the office. Strong IT skills are required, and recent graduates are encouraged to apply, as full training will be provided.

This varied administration role may include:
- Conducting Anti-Money Laundering checks in line with the Financial Crime Policy.
- Processing plan amendments and refunds as needed, including updating plan documentation.
- Performing all tasks in accordance with FCA regulations and company policies.
- Completing documentation for new plan sales in the back-office system as per company guidelines.
- Processing plan redemptions in line with company standards.
- Conducting compliance checks on client file documentation, identifying and reporting any anomalies.
- Reporting complaints and breaches in line with company policy.
- Adhering to the anti-bribery policy.
- Committing to continued personal development.
- Providing administrative support for Business Managers and Advisors, including booking appointments, sending emails with materials to advisors, and distributing brochures and terms & conditions to plan holders.
- Sorting and date-stamping incoming post, then scanning and filing items as required.
- Managing incoming calls, answering queries, or directing them to the relevant department or individual.
- Managing various email inboxes and forwarding messages as needed.
- Performing other tasks to support business operations.
Skills and Experience
Essential
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in IT, especially Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Sensitivity and accuracy, particularly when supporting vulnerable clients.
- Experience in a busy administrative environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Desirable
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills.
- Knowledge of compliance file documentation.
- Familiarity with financial services regulations related to funeral plan distribution.
- Relevant financial services qualifications.
- Experience in financial services or the funeral sector
