Job Title: Feed Milling / Manufacturing Operative
Location: Holsworthy, EX22 
Employment Type: Temp to Perm (12-week transition)
Hours: Full-Time – 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm)
Pay: £12.21 per hour, with overtime at £16.28 per hour (for hours over 40/week)

We are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable Feed Milling / Manufacturing Operative to join the team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop a long-term career in agricultural manufacturing, with the initial 12-week period offered on a temp-to-perm basis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a variety of machinery including precision feed mixers, grain processing systems, forklifts, and telehandlers, while maintaining high safety standards
• Comply with all relevant quality control processes and safety regulations
• Support warehouse operations such as receiving stock, handling order documentation, and preparing customer orders
• Uphold all health, safety, and feed safety policies and help implement procedural improvements when necessary

What We’re Looking For:

• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling, including lifting up to 25kg safely
• Holder of a valid Counterbalance Forklift and/or Telehandler licence (preferred)
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with customers
• Self-starter who can work independently and manage tasks without constant supervision
• Comfortable working in a busy, high-paced environment
• Basic understanding of agricultural products and their handling
• Open to undertaking any job-specific training as needed
