Assembly Operative

We have a brand-new position available for an Assembly Operative to join an already successful company based near Woodhall Spa. Our client is an expert in their field and are currently expanding due to some fantastic growth seen over the past 12 months.
 
Working in their workshop, you will be required to make a wide range of wooden furniture from instructions provided by your manager. In addition to the assembly duties, you may be asked to help the team in the warehouse, packing customer’s orders and getting them ready for distribution.
 
This is an excellent opportunity to join a prestigious company who are wanting to invest in their staff members, offering training and development opportunities. After a successful training period, there may be opportunities to join our customer permanently.
 
What will I be expected to do? 

• Quality-check components with an eye for detail.
• Follow instructions to assemble furniture.
• Operate machinery and hand tools with confidence.
• Assist with packing orders and preparing deliveries.

 
What skills do I need?

• Experience in a manufacturing or workshop setting—woodworking is a bonus!
• A proactive attitude and ability to work independently.
• Strong communication skills to connect with your team and managers.
• Reliability, commitment, and excellent timekeeping.

What hours will I be working?
There are two non-rotating shifts which may be available: a morning & an afternoon shift.
Morning Shift – Mon to Fri – 7.00AM to 3.30PM
Afternoon Shift – Mon to Fri – 3.30PM to 11.00PM
 
How much will I be paid?
Morning Shift - £11.44 per hour
Afternoon Shift - £13.07 per hour
Overtime – £17.16 to £19.60 per hour
