Factory Operative

Opportunity is around the corner as Pertemps are currently seeking Hygiene Staff, Production Operatives, Forklift Truck Drivers, and Machine Operators on behalf of an Animal Feed Factory located near North Scarle. You will be joining a successful warehouse and production team and helping in the daily running of the factory.
 
No experience needed!

This is an excellent opportunity to join a prestigious company who are wanting to invest in staff members, offering training and development opportunities. There will be permanent contracts offered to staff after 12 weeks worked through Pertemps.
 
What will I be doing?

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards across the facility (Hygiene Operatives).
• Operate machinery and equipment in line with safety guidelines and production standards (Machine Operatives).
• Load, unload, and transport materials safely using a forklift (Forklift Truck Drivers).
• Perform quality checks and support production processes (Production Operatives).
• Contribute to a safe, organized, and efficient working environment.

 
What skills and experience do I need?

• Previous experience in a factory, warehouse, or production role is preferred but not essential.
• Forklift Truck Drivers must have a valid forklift license.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
• MUST be able to drive to get to the factory

 
What hours will I be working?

• Shift Pattern: 4 on, 4 off
• Shifts: 12-hour shifts, rotating between days and nights:
  • Day Shift: 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM
  • Night Shift: 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM

 
What will I be paid?
£12.24 per hour to £14.00 per hour basic rates.
