BIM Technician – Cardiff (Hybrid)

We are currently working with a forward-thinking consultancy who are looking to bring an experienced BIM Technician into their Cardiff team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with solid Revit experience who wants to take the next step in their Building Services career, contribute to high-profile projects, and be part of a genuinely collaborative environment.

What the role involves:

• Coordinating and producing detailed BIM models across mechanical, electrical, and public health disciplines
• Working in a fully 3D environment using Revit, Navisworks, and MagiCAD
• Assisting in the automation of modelling and streamlining project delivery processes
• Collaborating closely with engineers and project teams to ensure accurate, efficient delivery of design information
• Supporting junior staff with BIM tools and helping embed best practice across the business
• Getting involved in internal BIM strategy and helping to shape how the team operates

What we're looking for:

• 5+ years’ experience in BIM modelling and coordination within Building Services
• Strong Revit and AutoCAD knowledge, ideally with exposure to MagiCAD and Navisworks
• Comfortable working on projects across all RIBA stages
• Experience in automating workflows and improving modelling processes is a real plus
• Collaborative mindset with excellent communication skills
• A proactive and self-motivated approach to problem solving and learning
• A genuine interest in sustainability and forward-thinking design
