Opportunity for a passionate and dedicated Part 2 Architectural Assistant to become an integral part of a well reputable large Architectural Consultancy. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects, from initial feasibility studies through to project completion. You will collaborate closely with architects and technologists, developing design concepts, visualisations, and technical drawings while gaining invaluable industry experience.

You will gain hands-on experience working on exciting architectural projects while being mentored by experienced professionals. With a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous learning, ensuring every team member has the chance to develop their skills and achieve their career goals.

A significant aspect of this role involves working within a BIM environment. You will support the implementation of BIM strategies and working closely with the BIM team, you will help resolve design issues and maintain high standards of digital design throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities:
  • Supporting project architects throughout various stages of the design and construction process.
  • Liaising with clients, coordinating with the wider design team
  • Contributing to the development of technical specifications.
  • You will be involved in interpreting project briefs, concept development, and conducting site assessments.
  • Assist with feasibility studies and compile reports, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards.
  • Work with 3D modelling software to create and refine project designs
  • Produce planning and building regulation drawings
  • Prepare tender and contract documentation.

  • A solid understanding of building legislation, health and safety regulations, and CDM requirements will be developed throughout
Requirements:
  • RIBA Part 2 qualified
  • Passionate within architectural design, technical detailing, and construction methodologies is essential.
  • You will need excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Proficiency in Archicad.
  • Ability to manage your workload effectively, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively within a team is crucial.
  • A valid driving licence is also necessary for this position.
