Seasonal Delivery Driver

Pertemps are working with a National service provider at this busy time of the year- Join the Royal Mail Team for Christmas!

They are seeking up to 4 additional people to join their team in Chorley on a temporary basis. 

This role involves manual handling and driving work, therefore a clean driving licence is essential for this role. Royal Mail is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals for a flexible (temporary) postal delivery driver position. If you have a passion for community service and love being on the move, this is the perfect opportunity for you!

As a postal delivery driver, you will need the following:

• Full UK Driving licence, with no more than six points, and to have held your licence for 6 months or more. 
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Upbeat and self-motivated.
• Love of the outdoors, whatever the weather.
• Good level of fitness to meet demands of the role- You’ll need to be able to walk 20,000 steps a day and carry a bag weighing up to 16kg.
• Excellent organisational skills.
• Resilience and flexibility.
• To pass a DBS check.

There is free parking available on site.

Shifts:
Working up to 6 days, shifts can start from the hours of 6am. No shift finishes later than 8pm.
