Role: Wood-mill Operative
Location: Dudley
Salary: £12.21ph (depending on experience)

Pertemps are recruiting for an experienced Wood mill Operative to join our client in Dudley. Successful candidate will play a crucial role in the production process, ensuring the precision and quality of components for products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate band saws and other woodworking machinery to cut wood components for products.
• Follow cutting specifications and measurements with accuracy to meet production standards.
• Inspect and maintain wood quality, ensuring all parts meet company standards.
• Collaborate with the production team to ensure smooth and efficient work flow.
• Adhere to Health & Safety regulations at all times.
• Perform general wood mill tasks as required to support production.

Successful candidates will have:

• Proven experience working with wood.
• Essential experience in operating band saws and other cutting equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and independently when needed
