Slitter Operator

Pertemps Dudley are seeking an experienced Slitter Operator with a strong background in de-coiling to join our client’s production team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating slitting machines and ensuring precise cuts.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Operate slitting and de-coiling machinery
• Set up and adjust machinery for various steel gauges and widths
• Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to specifications
• Maintain accurate records of production and machine performance

 
Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Slitter Operator with de-coiling expertise in a steel environment
• Strong understanding of slitting processes and equipment
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines

 
Rate of pay:
£12.50-£13.50 dependant on experience
 
Hours of work:
6am-2pm Monday to Friday
