Laser Operator - FLT License required

Pertemps Dudley are seeking a qualified Laser Operator with a Counterbalance Forklift License to join our clients team in Dudley. This position involves operating laser cutting machinery and handling materials using a counterbalance forklift. The successful candidate will work on a rotating shift schedule to ensure seamless production processes.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Operate laser cutting machines
• Load and unload materials using a counterbalance forklift
• Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production targets

 
Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Laser Operator or in a similar role
• Valid Counterbalance Forklift License
• Strong understanding of laser cutting operations and machinery
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment

 
Hours of work:
Alternating shift work as followed

• Mornings: 6:00am-2:30pm
• Afternoons: Mon – Thurs 2:00pm – 11:30pm, Friday 2:00pm – 6:00pm.

 
Hourly rate:
£12.68/hr morning shift, £13.18/hr afternoon shift
