Side Loader Driver

Role: Side Loader Driver
Location: Dudley
Rate of pay: £13.50 to £15.50 per hour, dependant on experience
Hours of work: 7am-5pm Monday to Friday
 
As a Side Loader Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a side loader to transport materials and products within the manufacturing facility. You will play a key role in ensuring smooth operations by efficiently handling and moving loads, supporting warehouse functions, and maintaining the safe flow of materials to the production lines.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate the side loader to move materials, supplies, and products within the warehouse and manufacturing facility.
• Load and unload trucks and delivery vehicles, ensuring proper placement and handling of materials.
• Conduct routine safety checks and maintenance on the side loader equipment.
• Assist in inventory management and track material movement.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and guidelines.
• Work closely with warehouse and production teams to support daily operations.
• Maintain accurate logs of materials transported and any issues that arise during operations.

 
Experience required:

• Proven experience operating a side loader or similar heavy equipment (preferred).
• Strong understanding of safety protocols and equipment operation.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
