Are you an experienced HGV Mechanic / Technician looking for a new challenge? We're on the lookout for a dedicated professional to join our growing team and keep our fleet running safely and efficiently.

About the Role

You'll be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and inspection of a range of heavy goods vehicles and trailers. Working in a well-equipped workshop with a supportive team, you'll carry out everything from routine servicing to major mechanical overhauls.

Key Responsibilities

" Diagnose, repair, and maintain HGVs and trailers to DVSA standards
" Conduct MOT preparations and safety inspections
" Complete service sheets and job cards accurately
" Work efficiently to meet deadlines while maintaining high standards
" Support junior technicians and contribute to a positive team environment

What We're Looking For

" NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
" Proven experience as an HGV Technician or similar role
" Good understanding of diagnostics and electrical systems
" Full UK driving licence (HGV Class 1 or 2 desirable)
" Reliable, proactive, and safety-focused attitude

Hours: Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm
Salary: £40,000 - £52,000
