Field Service Engineer

Are you a Field Service Engineer looking for an exciting new opportunity in the Rowley Regis area, servicing and maintaining CNC and automatic band saw / circular machinery for their local client base within a 20 mile radius in the West Midlands? If yes, then we want to hear from you!

Annual Salary: £34,000 to £40,000 (DOE)
Weekly Hours: Monday to Thursday 7.30am to 4pm, Friday - 7.30am to 1pm

The Role:

• Planned/unplanned mechanical maintenance of automatic band saws and machinery
• Responsible for PPM
• Meeting and building rapport with local customer base
• Routine servicing, breakdown and repairs
• Fault finding diagnosis and problem solving
• Installation and commissioning of machinery when required
• Log in and complete work carried out 

Experience/Skills Required:

• Previous experience working with metalworking machinery in mechanical maintenance
• Good understanding of pneumatics and hydraulics
• Basic electrical Knowledge desirable
• Ability to read from technical drawings
• Excellent customer service and organisational skills
• Previous experience with spare parts and stock control
• Flexible approach to work
• Have a full driving licence
• IT Literate
