Maintenance Engineer

Are you a Maintenance Engineer looking for a new permanent opportunity on an afternoon shift with a major steel company who are specialists in the Wednesbury area? If yes, we want to hear from you!

Annual Salary: £38,000 to £40,000 (DOE)
Weekly hours: 2pm - 10pm Mon to Thurs, 1pm to 8pm Fri (39 hrs a week)

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintenance and repair of rolling mills, slitters and other machinery
• Planning and undertaking scheduled PPM'S (planned preventative maintenance tasks) 
• Diagnosing faults & repairing equipment
• Creating a spare parts solution plan
• Monitor breakdown and repair data using in house computer system
• Encourage continuous improvement and highlight deficiencies
• Attend meeting and training courses as required
• Ensuring that all machinery and equipment runs efficiently at all times with minimum downtime.
• Providing support to maintenance team, including coaching and mentoring staff
