CNC Programmer/Setter

Job Opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced CNC Programmer/Setter/Operator to join our clients growing team in Wolverhampton. This role is critical in ensuring that materials and products are processed, handled, and recorded with precision and in accordance with customer requirements, while maintaining strict adherence to safety standards.
Shifts: 8:45PM - 7AM Monday - ThursdayPay: £17.00PH - 25.27PH including shift allowance 
Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately program, set, and operating of machinery to cut and process materials, optimising stock utilisation and minimising waste.
• Maintain accurate records on the computer-based stock control system and complete all required documentation in line with company procedures.
• Ensure all products and materials are correctly labelled and meet both customer and company standards.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce waste across operational processes.
• Assist with training and mentoring team members to ensure best practices are consistently followed.

Knowledge and Skills Required:

• Comprehensive understanding of raw materials handled on-site.
• Proficiency in programming and operating machinery for material preparation and cutting.
• Familiarity with quality assurance processes related to materials and product handling.
• Understanding of continuous improvement practices and their application in operational environments.
• Ability to read and interpret cutting patterns to maximize material usage and minimize waste.
• Competence in using computer systems for stock control and documentation.
• A valid counterbalance mechanical handling license (desirable).
• Machine maintenance skills relevant to the equipment in use (desirable).
