HGV Class 2 Driver

Pertemps are looking for an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver for a great opportunity based in Birmingham, on a temporary to permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for the right individual who is looking for a long term position in well-established company.

Based in Central Birmingham, we are recruiting for a full-time HGV Class 2 driver working Monday to Friday - £14.00ph and £32,500 once permanent.

This role will entail:
- 5 day working week
- Curtain sided vehicle with tail lift
- Nationwide deliveries
- Palletised goods
- Some pump truck work involved
- Immediate start available

Key details:
- 06:00 starts
- 42.5 hours contracted per week
- Overtime available
- 25 days holiday per year once permanent (3 taken automatically for Christmas closing)


Rates of pay:
- £14.00 per hour PAYE for first 8 weeks
- £32,500 salary after 8 weeks


Requirements for the role:
- Have HELD your HGV C Licence for 2 years
- Have 6 months of HGV C driving experience
- Flexible to drive both 7.5T and C vehicles as required
- Want to eventually upskill to a Moffett
- Have no points or endorsements
- Have a valid CPC & Digi card
