Job Description

Pertemps West Bromwich are currently recruiting for an experienced Maintenance Team Leader to join a leading manufacturing company based in Oldbury. The role focuses on production and facility operations, maintaining and optimising machinery and equipment to support efficient and safe operations.

Key Duties:

Install, maintain, and repair production machines and facility equipment.
Lead and delegate tasks to maintenance personnel.
Record and report KPIs (OEE, PPM, unplanned maintenance) to the Senior Supervisor.
Engage suppliers and raise purchase orders.
Report planned activities and potential production impacts at meetings.
Maintain electronic maintenance records and comply with ISO standards (e.g., ISO 9001).
Ensure safe, clean, and organized work areas (5S standards).
Conduct preventive maintenance and emergency repairs.
Apply mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic skills for troubleshooting and repairs.
Read equipment manuals, diagnose issues, replace or repair parts, and test equipment.
Detect and report faulty operations or defective materials.
