Mig Welder

Pertemps are currently recruiting for Production MIG Welders to join the UK's largest Cold Roll Forming specialist located in Oldbury.

Based in a very clean modern working environment with the latest extraction systems, your main role as MIG Welder will be to weld ladder racking to produce cable and basket management trays.

Previous experience of MIG welding on mild steel is essential, as is the ability to work in a fast paced production environment.




You will complete a training period of 4 weeks on day shifts (07:30 to 16:00 Mon to Thurs and 07:30 to 12:30 on a Fri), however once this is completed the role will be permanent night shifts (18:00 to 04:30 Mon to Wed and then 18:00 to 01:00 on a Thurs).


Flame proof overalls and safety boots provided. Possible permanent position available after completing a trial period through Pertemps. 


MIG Welder starting hourly rate is £12.35p/h on days, increasing to £15.78p/h on nights.


Parity pay after 12 weeks increasing to approx. £18 p/h.
