Job Description

Pertemps West Bromwich are currently recruiting for a Purchasing Assistant to join our expanding client based in Tipton.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):
  • Monitor stock levels, purchase orders, and manage imports
  • Maintain accurate inventory through perpetual stock checks and annual stock takes
  • Resolve supplier disputes and liaise with the accounts team on payments and discrepancies
  • Manage SKU codes, product launches, and clearances initiatives
  • Generate work orders based on seasonal inventory needs and collaborate with sales and assembly teams
  • Handle consumable purchases for all departments

The Ideal Candidate:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience within a similar role
  • Proficiency with inventory management systems
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and forward-thinking skills

Hours:
Monday – Thursday: 08:30am – 17:00pm
Friday: 08:30am – 13:00pm

Pay:
£22,500 per annum
