Location: Bilston

Hourly Rate: £12.25 per hour

Shift: Day Shift

 

We are currently seeking a Yard Operative to join our client based in Bilston. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a manual, outdoor work environment and has experience with handling and moving steel materials.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operating a Forklift Truck (FLT) to safely move long lengths of steel
  
  
• Assisting with the loading and unloading of materials
  
  
• Keeping the yard organized and ensuring safe storage of steel
  
  
• Working as part of a team to meet production targets
  
  
• Adhering to all health and safety guidelines
  
  

Requirements:

• Experience in manual outdoor work
  
  
• FLT experience, ideally with a valid FLT license
  
  
• Ability to handle steel materials and work in a fast-paced environment
  
  
• Good communication skills and a team player attitude
  
  
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling tasks
