Job Title: Forklift Counterbalance Driver
Location: Eastleigh, Hampshire
Salary: £15.00 per hour
Contract Type: temp to Permanent
 
About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join a busy steelworks team in Eastleigh. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment, ideal for someone who takes pride in safety and efficiency.
 
Hours of Work:

• Monday to Friday
• Rotating shifts: 06:00 – 14:00 and 14:00 – 22:00 (rotating weekly)
• 1 in every 3 Saturdays (paid at time and a half)

 
Role & Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a counterbalance forklift in a busy environment
• Load and unload materials efficiently and accurately
• Ensure stock is stored correctly and safely
• Carry out routine safety checks and maintenance on equipment
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment

 
Requirements:

• Proven experience operating counterbalance forklifts
• Relevant forklift certification (Counterbalance)
• Strong focus on health & safety
• Ability to work rotating shifts and occasional Saturdays
• Reliability and a strong work ethic
